2. What personal data we process
In connection with accommodation and online check-in, we may process in particular:
first name and surname,
date of birth,
permanent/home address,
nationality,
identity document number,
arrival and departure dates,
other information required by applicable Czech legislation,
information necessary to process the accommodation booking.
As part of online check-in, a photograph of an identity document may also be temporarily processed for the purpose of verifying the entered information.
3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
Personal data is processed for the purposes of:
fulfilling the accommodation agreement and providing accommodation services,
complying with statutory obligations applicable to accommodation providers, in particular keeping the required guest records and fulfilling obligations towards public authorities,
verifying the accuracy of information entered during online check-in.
Processing is therefore based primarily on the performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations. Where necessary, processing may also be based on the controller's legitimate interests, particularly in protecting property and resolving disputes.
4. Identity document photographs
A photograph of an identity document is used solely to verify the information provided during online check-in.
If the automated verification is successful and no manual review is required, the photograph is not retained for subsequent manual review.
If manual verification is necessary, the photograph may be temporarily retained for a maximum of 72 hours for this purpose. After this period, it is automatically deleted.
The photograph is not used for marketing purposes.
5. Retention period
Personal data required by law is retained for the period prescribed by applicable legislation.
Other personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for the period necessary to protect the controller's legitimate interests.
Identity document photographs retained for manual verification are deleted no later than 72 hours after being stored.
6. Recipients and processors
Personal data may be processed using services and technical infrastructure provided by third parties, in particular Google services used for the online check-in system and data storage.
Personal data may also be disclosed to competent public authorities where required by law.
Personal data is not sold or provided to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
7. Your rights
Under applicable data protection legislation, you have the right, where the relevant conditions are met, to:
access your personal data,
rectify inaccurate or incomplete personal data,
request erasure of personal data,
request restriction of processing,
object to processing,
data portability.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In the Czech Republic, this is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).
